Prof. Ho Zhao-Hua

Ho Zhao-hua is a Professor in the Textiles and Clothing Department, Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan, and also the Dean of Fashion & Textiles College. She completed her BA Chinese Literature, Masters in Textiles and Clothing, both at Fu Jen Catholic University. She received her PhD from the Institute of Anthropology at National Tsing Hua University in 2011. Her thesis is titled Gifts to Dye For: Cloth and Person among Shidong Miao in Guizhou Province. Her scholarly interests include the anthropology of cloth, anthropology of art, Chinese fashion history, Miao ethnography, textiles in museum displays, and the reconstructions of Taiwan aboriginal textiles.
