The core of the college is based on the philosophy of sustainable fashion. Since the establishment of the Textiles and Clothing Department in 1970. Our innovative environmentally-focused curriculum and collaborative initiatives with industry ensure that we train professionals who bring a holistic vision and competitive skills to their craft to Taiwan fashion industry at the forefront.
The College integrates resources of Department of Textiles and Clothing, the Graduate Institute of Museum Studies, and the MA Program in Brand and Fashion Management to establish Global Sustainable Fashion Center. In addition, the College actively pursues robust relationships with partners in academia, government, industry, and research centers in four key research areas: technology and design; business and management; analytics and communication; culture and heritage to ensure innovative and advanced solutions.
The aim of the college is to incubate creative designers who are creative and globally mobilized. In the past, our student designers have been won world famous competitions, while our alumni are also important players in fashion industries. Our mission and commitment are to create a world-class learning environment tied to industry, and offer the networking and all possible supports to help our students realize their talents and dreams.
